How It Works
RENEW International offers a total renewal experience for the parish, spiritually transforming people through Sunday Eucharistic celebrations, small Christian communities, daily personal meditations, large group activities, and Christian social action.
This renewal experience draws upon basic gospel themes. Because of the variety of ways in which people are engaged, something is available for every parishioner, creating a unifying and enthusiastic spiritual climate in the parish.
The RENEW process might be likened to an extended retreat. Over a three-year period, a time of preparation is followed by five six-week blocks of time, or Season. Each of these “Seasons” has a major gospel theme that is broken down into weekly themes and experienced in the variety of ways mentioned above.
The flow of the three-year original RENEW process is as follows:
