Retreat Leader Training Workshops
Retreats are spiritual experiences extended to the whole parish, providing an opportunity to spend time in prayer and reflection on the annual theme of Why Catholic?
Retreat Leader Training Workshop engages parish volunteers in the experience of a retreat and provides formation in organizing and leading retreats on Why Catholic? themes in the parish. A guide for planning retreats and a retreat guide and participant materials for each retreat are provided.
Discovering God in the Ordinary
Provides an opportunity to reflect on God’s love and constant presence through the beauty of creation, other people, and everyday experiences.
Eucharist: Bread for the Journey
Uses biblical stories to aid participants in discovering how God feeds us and dwells with us and within us, particularly through the Eucharist celebrated and the Eucharist lived out in our lives.
Living the Beatitudes
Focuses on Jesus’ teaching of the Beatitudes. Guides participants in a reflection on the Face of Christ in the Beatitudes and how they are connected with our call to be Christ for others in our own day and culture.
Audience: Why Catholic? Parish Team and volunteers who have been invited to lead retreats
